My Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) Timeline

Weight Loss Surgery Timeline Profile Pic

I’m often asked about the process of having Weight Loss Surgery ( WLS). People often want to know how long the process took. I get asked questions about how the time it took to get my insurance approval. People often want to know how long it took me to go through the required pre-operative appointments. I get asked about how long it took to get my surgery date.

These questions are often repeated when someone is beginning to take the steps towards reconstructive surgery and skin removal surgery after massive weight loss.

Below you will find a timeline specific to my WLS ( Weight Loss Surgery ) journey. This should give you a pretty clear idea how long each part of my journey took. Of course, as always, if  you have any questions, feel free to use the Dear DSS page to write in and ask them. I’m always more than happy to answer any questions you have.
