It’s time for a product review!
This month we’re going to be talking about the Hair, Skin and Nail Formula from BariLife. Because, I am an honest WLS Blogger; I’ll admit that I am remiss in getting this review published. As usual, you have great intentions, then life happens and other things sort of take priority.
This product review as slated for October. But, I was suddenly dealing with the passing of my late ex-husband. However, that has given me the opportunity to spend more time with the product itself. Which makes for an even better review. Always find the silver-lining right? Right.
Hair, skin and nails. Let’s be honest, these are pretty important things. Each one of them contributes to our self-image. If you’re anything like me, self-image after weight loss surgery is a topic of paramount importance. Personally, I spend a lot of time on my appearance.
The Hair, Skin and Nail formula from BariLife has my hair growing like weeds!
When it comes to appearance, hair is a big deal to me. A really big deal. I’m a do-it-myself sort of gal when it comes to color. Currently, because I am attempting to grow my hair out, I not getting hair cuts very often. First, let’s talk about how the Hair, Skin and Nail formula from BariLife affected my hair. Holly freaking grow out batman! While taking this supplement my hair has grown like weeds.
This has some pros and cons in the world of Pandora. The great part, is that my hair is growing faster, so I’m reaching my goal of growing my hair out more quickly. I’m going to give this product a lot of credit for that. The other big pro I will mention is that hair growth isn’t limited to your head. While taking this product I noticed that my lashes were looking longer and healthier and my eyebrows were getting thicker.
I don’t know if you know this ladies, but longer fuller lashes and brows are one of the secret ingredients to looking younger!
The con, is that because my hair is growing faster, I have to dye it much more frequently. That’s not really a negative thing. It just means I have to find time to do those root touch ups more often. If you know me, you know that finding time for extra little things can be a bit of a struggle for me.
I’m time challenged. That’s a Pandora issue not a product issue. So in the realm of how this product effects your hair. I’d definitely give it 5 stars.
It was hard to tell if the Hair, Skin and Nail formula and positive effects.
No fault of the product itself mind you. I just have pretty amazing skin. Skin care is something I take pretty seriously. My esthetician friends would be so proud! Additionally, because I have Discoid lupus, (Lupus of the skin NOT the internal organs) I wear a lot of sunscreen. Because of the sun screen, I wash my face religiously to make sure it doesn’t get too oily. As a result of all that washing, I also spend a lot of time on moisturizing, to insure that I don’t end up with dry skin.
Good skin is one of the few things the good lord has just sort of naturally blessed me with. But, in this case, having good skin and good skin care routines made it hard to tell if the product was changing anything.
But, Let’s get to where the Hair, Skin and Nail formula made the most notable difference.
My nails. First, let me be really clear here. My nails are one of my highest priorities. My nails are one of the few things I really splurge on. I have one nail technician that I use and nobody, and I mean nobody, touches my nails but Cami. If my nails are not on point, either she is out-of-town or I am broke. That’s a true story. If you spot me with a bad manicure, something is wrong in my world.
Since I pay a lot of attention to my nails. It was very easy for me to tell how much faster they were growing while using the Hair, Skin and Nail supplement. Primarily because it had me in the nail salon much more often!
I’m the type of gal that wears a french manicure a lot so that you can’t see the grow of my nails unless you’re looking at them really closely. That typically means I am in the nail salon getting a fill-in every 3-4 weeks rather than the every 2 weeks that a fully painted nail requires.
Not while taking this product! There was no skimping or delaying my manicure day. Since taking this product, I’ve been religious about getting in to see the nail tech every 2-3 weeks. Because, by week 4 even though my french manicure still has the facade of a well polished manicure, the nail growth causes the length of my nails to be problematic. If my nails get too long I start hitting them on things and catching them on stuff. Additionally, my typing and texting gets slopping. None of those are good things.
The Hair, Skin and Nail formula by BariLife had very noticeable results!
If what you are looking for is a product that is going to help your hair and nails grown faster, stronger and healthier, I’d highly recommend this product. My only complaint, and it is really a half-hearted complaint, is that if you are trying to keep your beauty shop budget under control this product can be a little counterproductive to the goal.
In fact, if I ever get asked to do a product review on a Hair, Skin and Nail formula again, I’m going to ask for a beauty shop stipend to offset the cost of a good product.
If you want to give the BariLife – Hair, Skin and Nail formula a try, you can find it on their website. The product recommends taking 3 capsules a day and a 90 count bottle will run you $37.99
